BIO
Margarida Paiva is a visual artist living in Oslo, and working with film, photography and installation. In 2007, Paiva completed her Master degree at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts (NO), and has earlier studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Porto (PT). Her work has been shown widely in exhibitions and her films have been awarded in international festivals. Recent work is the outcome of a personal exploration into the mystical dimension of the natural world. It is inspired by folklore, fairy tales, and ancient myths, where Nature is frequently linked with the human psyche relating to the unconscious.
