BIO

Taylor Bye is a Norwegian artist, living and working in Gothenburg, Sweden. She holds a MFA in Photography from the School of Photography, University of Gothenburg (2011) and a BA (hons) in Photography from the University for the Creative Arts (2009). Taylor Bye works with drawing, collecting, photography and performance, and the practice is shaped by her curiosity and research into the concepts that shape our everyday lives. In addition to her own practice, Taylor Bye also has an ongoing collaboration with the artist and photographer Erik Betshammar. In their collaboration they explore a contemporary photographic situation, using thoughts and techniques from the birth of photography.
