The Norwegian Association of Fine Photographers (FFF) was established in 1974 as the trade union for photographers and camera-based visual artists in Norway. We represent approximately 360 artists. New members are admitted according to the following criteria:

The applicant must have completed arts education at bachelor level or higher, or be able to demonstrate a similar artistic practice within camera-based art. The applicant must be in active pursuits as an artist. All applicants who meet the admission criteria searches on equal terms.

FFF welcomes membership applications twice a year (1 March and 1 October). The membership fee is NOK. 750, - per year.

Member Benefits

The more artists we represent, the bigger impact we have in important academic, social and economic issues. As a member you receive regular information from us and guidance when needed. FFF runs studios for members to rent, a guest apartment for short-term rentals, as well as a digital workshop where members can work and scan for free. FFF-members also have a variety of discount deals and free entrance to several museums and other institutions. Members have the opportunity to influence the organization through the annual General Assembly.
