Mariken Kramer lives and works in Oslo. Through her work she explores the field that lies between documentation, staging and storytelling, where camera-based techniques play a central role in her work as a tool for ordering, sorting and building different narratives. She works with video, books, photography and installation to think about and play with non-linear shapes of memory, identity and other aspects related to the human condition.
