Geir Egil Bergjord presents his work in exhibitions, web-projects, films and as public art. He has made several self published photo books, participated in numerous juried exhibitions and exhibited at Stavanger Art Museum, Hordaland Kunstsenter, Galleri UKS, Tromsø Kunstforening and Galleri Otto Plonk. His works have been purchased by KODE, Arts Council Norway and Stavanger Art Museum.
Perceiving the surroundings through his lense, Bergjord creates visually complex photos, where set against a greater whole trivial details are given an important role. As in his ongoing series where he seeks out and photographs iconic landmarks from a private home nearby.
